Miss D’s Editorial Session
“I have always wanted to do a boudoir photo shoot, but was too nervous to actually book an appointment. I’m so glad that I finally had the courage and found Brooke. Initially I didn’t know what to expect. She sent me an email answering all of my questions upon booking. What to bring, how to look when I showed up, and she even asked what kind of music I would want, and if there are any particular poses that I would want to try!
When I first arrived, I was met with a welcoming and calming environment. Brooke offered me breakfast to keep my energy up during the shoot, and she ran through phrases she would be using throughout so I wasn’t confused. Brooke instantly made me feel more comfortable than I would have imagined. She was so respectful and understanding of any boundaries that I had, and never tried to push me to do anything that I didn’t want to do.
This was all new to me, and I was unsure if I was going to be able to execute poses correctly. Brooke was amazing at suggesting and teaching poses. She made it so easy, and was very helpful. She would actually get into the pose to show me what would look good. Once I tried them, if it wasn’t right, she would always ask and be sure I was comfortable before touching me to move my body the way that would come out nicely in the pictures.
We worked at different paces throughout the photo shoot, with Brooke always checking in on how I was feeling, and if I needed anything. There were times we took a lot of pictures and outfit changes, and then would slow down, sip some coffee, and takes breaks as I needed.
I loved working with Brooke. She made me feel beautiful and sexy. When we were done, she spent time chatting with me, and made me feel welcome to take my time and not feel rushed out.
The next day I received a secure email with my photos! I couldn’t believe they were me. I didn’t have the highest self esteem, and thought, “Is this what my body really looks like!?” They came out amazing, and I had trouble deciding which were my favorites.
I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with Brooke. Since the shoot, my confidence has skyrocketed. I have beautiful pictures that I will always treasure, and made a friend in the process.”
